All diagrams are artfully designed with the Adobe InDesign graphics program and then converted to a contiguous PDF (Portable Document Format) document. A PDF document is a universal file format that preserves the fonts, images, and layout of documents created in other applications. Thus, a PDF document exists independently from the hardware, software, and operating system (OS) used to create or view the PDF Colossians & Philemon Bookmarksdocument. It not only makes it easy to transmit files between a server to your computer, tablet, or smartphone, but also to obtain diagrams with the preservation of the look and feel of the original source file. Furthermore, Adobe PDF documents are compact and complete that can be viewed, searched, and printed.

Anyone anywhere can open a PDF document from any computer platform. All one needs is the free Adobe Reader software (or any other PDF reader such as Foxit). Many computers, tablets, and smartphones already come preloaded with the Adobe's software.

All diagrams are bookmarked which are "hyperlinks" to predetermined PDF pages. Bookmarks appear to the left hand side of the main document. Every section, chapter and page are bookmarked to make navigation easy and quick.

Every diagram set is organized under at least three boldface hierarchical headings: Chapters (or Epistles before Chapters in diagram sets containing multiple letters), Overviews, and Print. Diagram sets that include diagramming and syntactical notes also have a Notes heading as well (such as Colossians & Philemon).

Chapters

The Chapters contain letter-size pages, both in portrait and landscape orientation. Those who study the Greek Testament at home or use a laptop during Greek class will especially benefit from this convenient grouping of pages.

These screen-optimized diagrams are easy to view and navigate irrespective of a page’s inherent orientation. One may also use the mouse's scrolling wheel, the appropriate keyboard arrow keys, and/or the bookmarks to locate quickly a particular location.

The bookmark pane appears to the left when the document initially opens. Otherwise, this document opens to your page display default preferences. You may change your display preferences at any time. In addition, the Adobe Select & Zoom toolbar makes changing the magnification of PDF documents a breeze that enhances viewing pleasure.

Overviews

Overviews contain sequential single-page chapter diagrams. These overviews are demonstratively unique in the field of diagramming and are exclusively available at NTGreek In Diagram.

An actual full-sized overview for Colossians 1:1-29 may viewed here. A new window opens when the aforementioned link is clicked. The overview is easily scalable by either increasing (+) or diminishing (-) percentages on the toolbar.

Notes (if available)

The words of the biblical text are listed in their order of occurrence and contextually parsed. A short definition is also offered for most words, followed by its syntactical tag. These aids should be of further help for most who are students of the Greek New Testament.

Print

The Print section contains portrait and landscape orientated pages that are letter-size. However, some printers cannot properly format mixed pages in the same file. The information on a landscape's page is invariably cropped. To remedy this issue, all landscape pages are rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise into portrait orientation. Whereas all the diagrams may be viewed, the landscape's side-way orientated pages will prove too difficult to read.

The Print pages purposely do NOT contain any over-sized chapter overview pages like the Overviews. Otherwise, most printers' page size limitations would cause the printer to stall. The Epistles and Overviews documents are screen-optimized; the Print documents are printer-optimized. Furthermore, the Print section includes a title page and all pages are also bookmarked. These printer-friendly pages are conveniently placed at the end of the document to facilitate printing a portion or all the pages at one time.
