Lyrics for Will We Be Ready?

Will we be ready
When Jesus returns
His Kingdom revealed
In glory on earth
Will our hands be clean
Have we died to sin
For there’s only one narrow gate
That we may enter in
Let us set our minds
On things far above
And not be distracted
By the things of this earth

For the gate is wide and the road is broad
Leading to destruction
Not everyone who says, “Lord, Lord”
Enters into the Kingdom
For the gate is small and the way narrow
Leading to life
And few are those who find it

Will we truly be ready
When Jesus again appears
United in His life exalted
Or wrath for our sins
Will our hearts be pure
Will we be freed from sin
And hear, “Good and faithful friend”
To inherit the Kingdom on earth
Ask, seek, and knock
The Son of God pleads
Our High Priest suffered
To lead us thru that narrow gate
